Evilo splicer

At the Matthys Group we have developed a machine to join the ends of filament yarns. This handy lightweight device is suitable to splice different types of yarn.

The main advantage of using the splicer is the minimal increase in yarn volume. A traditional knot increases the volume with 100%, splices increase the volume with less than 20%. This results in a higher quality of the end product.

The Evilo splicer is lightweight, portable and user friendly. For the user's convenience we can either offer a belt or a rail to attach the splicer, enabling the operator to use both hands.

We always perform tests with your yarn in order to determine the correct air chamber.
